Today we are celebrating our anniversary… still miles apart. I don’t know till when we’re going to be like this. But I believe love will make its own way… we’re hoping and praying.

Whew! I don’t wanna be reminded. This made me miss him more…

Anyway, about the wooden hanger in the pic, I got it from a thrift store. I bought it for only 50 cents: 4 wooden heart hangers and a book. A great deal eh! I can’t decide yet what to do with it. I’m thinking of painting it, put some clay flowers or decoupaging… What do you think?

Another clay artist in my to-follow list is Jennifer Morris. I am so inlove with her clay creations. Each of her item has intricate details that clearly shows how much love she poured in it. Her clay works are very classy and artistically designed.

So I decided to apply her technique on a locket.

The petals are so small; I find it hard to form a uniform petals. After forming two flowers for almost an hour, I find that the positioning of flowers are not right. and adding more petals will make it crowded so I decided to add fancy jewels. But the output is not good. Definitely I won’t bake it.

I’ll try another one…

It took me long to finally post my first project using the molds that I purchased because of the different online earning programs that I currently joined. I and my sister are both elated with the income that we’re making through joining several money making sites. If you are interested to earn money like we are doing just check my other blog, Life Ascending.
So about my recent clay project, I called it “Spring Frame” because of the flowers and leaves. I think this project is very timely for this Spring Season. Oh, I just can’t wait till the flowers will fully bloom.
<center

This project is inspired by Ms. Rocky’s <a href=“ http://theclayingmommy.blogspot.ca/2012/01/tutorial-carved-cuff.html” > carved cuff tutorial. Ms. Rocky is one of my fave clay artists. Her creations are really superb!

I mentioned how excited I am with the molds that I purchased but it took me days to really used it because I’m too tired to do it after work; so last Wednesday (my day-off) I had the chance to try the molds. But the clays are hard to condition and it’s crumbly. I should search the right way of storing it. Anyway I used Sculpey Clay Softener to soften the clay which helps a bit.

I tried every design of the molds and I’m so happy and excited to make a project out of it. I’m planning to make a technique like the cuff which Rockybeads created in her tutorial but I will use the technique in a metal frame which I purchased in Dollar Store for $1.00.

I haven’t finish the project yet and as days past by my desired output are becoming more vivid. Here’s my clay project using the molds, it’s not the design that I want to have so expect that there are changes in the final output

Though I feel inlove again with my pencils it doesn’t mean that I loose interest in other crafting techniques especially clays. Actually almost everyday I still search for polymer clay techniques and tools and purchase molds at etsy. I’m expecting it to arrive soon.

According to WhysperFairy, owner of the shop where I bought the molds, there is a surprise add on in the items that I purchased and I can’t wait to see it. Another good thing is that she has monthly giveaways and for this month I super-duper want to win the giveaways….

I mean look at the pictures I grabbed from her April Giveaway post, isn’t it lovely?

The last 30 days is a fun, brain wracking, stress reliever activity that I undertook through the 30 Day Drawing Challenge. There are days where I can’t figure out what to draw since I didn’t follow what’s in the list. But at the end of the day I feel happy and fulfilled everytime I looked at my output…

Through the challenge I felt like I reunited with my pencils, since it’s been half a decade since the last time I draw.

My personal fave drawings are “Favorite Animal“,”Fairy Tale Character” and “A Child“. I draw my youngest niece, Hannah, for the latter challenge. My BF posted it in his wall and made it as his FB header. Surprisingly I got lots of request because of it. My other niece questioned why I only draw Hannah, and requested me to draw her but without her face (silly little girl! LOL)… Now I have plenty of projects on my to do list.

So to wrap up the 30 Day Drawing Challenge here’s the list:

I can’t believe I finish this challenge without skipping a day, thus I deserve a CELEBRATION! Plus it’s my 30th birthday today! Wohooo!!!!

So for this last day of this challenge, I draw a fondant cake for my 30th birthday (hope Cake Boss will make it… ). This signifies – FUN AND FEARLESS ME @ 30!

The cake – a curly me as the cake topper wearing sexy dress and yup tossing a wine, yes it`s a celebration! And ooohhhhh… the red stiletto!

Honestly never wear such outfit. I don`t know if I look good on it! LOL… Actually I don`t have to change physically or the way I dress up. I just want to be the fun fearless woman from now on…
