Day 4: Something New

New Art Material

Blending Chalks
I discover this new art material, artistic blending chalks by INKADINKADO, through youtube when I was searching for polymer clay creations. The artist used this chalk for finishing touches as alternative to mica powder. But basically this is use to create a soft pastel finish in your drawing which you can blend and shade.

So here’s my first try. Don’t ask me if what kind of flower it is ‘coz I honestly do not know. LOL…

New Technique

I used photobucket to host my images at least my photos will not consume space in my bandwidth or disk space (?). I don’t know if there’s photo editing in photobucket before, ‘coz I just discovered it lately. So for those who are saddened with the closing of picnic, photobucket is the answer.

I distorted the picture above by applying swirl distortion and I love the effect.

By the way, I’ll post a separate review for the blending chalk.

Twenty-six more drawings to goooooo!!!!!
